A modern new build farmhouse is set amongst wild flower meadows and mature trees. 

This project has been carefully designed to respond to our client’s brief and to the sensitive landscape setting of the AONB designation (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). 

The design has been conceived around a collection of agricultural buildings, sensitively arranged around an entrance courtyard that separates the entrance from the private garden spaces. A winding pathway sculpts its way through the site drawing you towards the house. While a sleek glass link brings together the two volumes that makeup the farmhouse and stables, forming a partially enclosed courtyard and sweeping driveway. 

The main residence affords four spacious bedroom suites, open plan living, extensive utility rooms and an undercroft garage for our client’s classic car collection, including a workshop. A glazed link connects the farmhouse to the stables, with glimpses through to the private kitchen garden.
